Let’s Put Washington and Madison County Values on the Bench

Meet Seth Creed

For the last nine years, Seth has served in the United States Attorney’s Office, where he defends the United States any time it is sued. Seth handles medical malpractice, employment discrimination, car-wrecks, premises liability, excessive-force claims against federal agents, and a wide range of other complex civil litigation. He has represented federal judges, Assistant U.S. Attorneys, and members of the U.S. congress in lawsuits. Seth has also represented the United States multiple times before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Seth spent nearly five years as a prosecutor in Washington and Madison Counties, trying serious felony crimes. Before that, he practiced at Friday, Eldredge & Clark handling commercial and general civil litigation, and at the Malcom Law Firm focusing on Medical Malpractice litigation. His extensive civil litigation background, including work on some of the most complex cases, makes him uniquely prepared for the complex matters Division 2 handles.

Outside the courtroom, Seth is a man of faith and family.
He and his wife, Lauren, are raising their three children in West Fork. Their family lives by a simple reminder posted on their refrigerator: “Our mark on this earth is our children.” That perspective keeps Seth grounded. Life is not about ego or legacy. It’s about creating a safer community and a better future for the next generation.

Seth’s work ethic was forged early.
When he was 10, his father lost his job and started a machine shop in a red barn behind their home. Seth worked long days loading and deburring parts, sweeping metal shavings, and doing whatever was needed. Those years shaped his character; work hard, stay humble, never quit.

Seth is also a lifelong competitor.
He was a collegiate athlete and two-year team captain, later playing semi-professional soccer and serving as co-captain. He has completed an Ironman and recently finished one of the world's most challenging trail races, the Pikes Peak Ascent. He shares these not for bragging rights, but because he believes: How you do anything is how you do everything. That is the level of commitment he will bring to the bench.

Please support Seth Creed for Circuit Judge, Division 2.
He has the courtroom experience, the judgment, the work ethic, and the integrity our community deserves.
